After a year like none other, it’s hard to know quite what to say. “Have a happy holiday season” feels insufficient; “thanks for fighting through a global pandemic to serve the community while also engaging in a continued racial reckoning” feels closer to sufficient, but an email newsletter also doesn’t seem like quite the right vehicle to deliver that message.
Rather than using more words to try to express everything this year has meant, both individually and as a collective, we’ve taken inspiration from this New York Times op-ed* and instead offer you just six words each to summarize our experiences of 2020:
Happy Holidays!
'Tis the season for gratitude, and this year, as we are each year, we are grateful for our partners in community. Whether you are staff, volunteer, or board member of a nonprofit, supporting organization, or funder, we are grateful for all that you do each and every day to tackle our communities' largest problems.

Happy Holidays
During this season, we take time to reflect upon the good things we have--not least of which is the partnerships we share with those doing the most important work in our communities. However you fit into the nonprofit community--as staff, volunteer, support services, funder, or client--may your holidays be filled with warmth and love.
