The Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County will be hosting a four-hour evaluation workshop for non-profits interested in evaluating their program success. The program will review why evaluation has become so important to both funding organizations and the public, and how evaluation can be managed by non-profit professionals who already have dozens of other things on their plates.
In the course of the afternoon, participants will address critical questions such as:
- What outcomes can I really achieve with my clients?
- How will I measure these?
- What do our outcome results actually tell me and what other data do I need?
- How will I know if the program is successful?
Small group work and peer support is emphasized to help you identify key outcomes for your program, as well as develop outcome goal statements and a logic model to document your evaluation framework. The session will also provide guidance on how your nonprofit, no matter how small, can take steps to identify and track outcomes that tell your nonprofit's story.
